Alexander the Great - Youth :

At 13

when he was thirteen, he was quite mature. Alexander's parents care about their son so they hired some of the best tutors to teach him and give him a good education . Alexander started with Aristotle, he give him training in rhetoric and literature and encouraged his interest in science, medicine, and philosophy. His parents decide that he learned enough from Aristotle so they move him into another teacher Leonidas. Leonidas related to Olympius Alexander mother. But he didn’t last becouse he was harsh teacher and Alexander doesn’t care about him. Next is Lysimachus he was his final tutors, from him he learned cultural aspects of the world around him. He enjoys fine arts like drama, poetry and music and learn to play lyre. There is a story that prove how he is smart and it happened when his 13. His father bought horse named Bucephalus that no one can ride it, so Alexander decided to make a bet on if he can ride it or not. Alexander come near the horse to discover that the horse was afraid of its own shadow so he rode it by let him face the sun to keep the shadow behind it. Bucephalus keep Alexander company for almost 15 years, When the horse died there, Alexander named a city after him in India.

when King Philip was fighting the Persians he made Alexander regent of Macedonia. While is father away he lead an expedition aginst rebellious barbarians where he stop an revolution and founded his first colony and named it after him Alexandropoulos. After this victory he became a general in his father's army.

At the battle of Chaeronea Philip left Alexander in rule of the left wing of the Macedonian army because of the brave cavalry that lead by Alexander the battle was won.

Philip was killed by guard stab a spear into his chest so Alexander became the king of Macedonia and he started build his wide empire.

Alexander the Great - Birth :

Alexander The Great was born around July 20, 356 B.C in Pella, the capital of Macedonia. His father Phillip II and his mother Olympias, the princess of Epirus. There was conflict between Alexander's parents so he wasn’t raised in the environment like other princes.

He have curly dark blond hair, fair skinned and different colours in his eyes, a blue and a dark one.
